Over the years we have seen commercial cleaning go from being a luxury to a necessity. By asking a few questions it’s clear to see why all commercial spaces should have a professional cleaning service on board.
There was once a time when organisations didn’t see the need to outsource their commercial cleaning. However, we now live in a time of rigorous health and safety standards, which means organisations simply can’t do without professional cleaning services.
As Industrial Cleaning Specialists has grown as a business, we have taken the time to learn about our customers’ needs and developed our services accordingly.
Our client list is so broad that we have had to learn how to think on the spot and tailor our cleaning services to meet the specific needs of each client. We don’t often know what to expect before entering a new site, so we are trained to handle whatever comes our way.
So why are our services so important to our clients?
Simply put, we do what our clients can’t.
We use specialised chemicals and equipment to ensure no speck of your premise is left untreated.
Having our services on board enables our clients are able to get on with the task at hand, while having peace of mind that they meet even the most stringent hygiene standards.
Let’s break it down and look at the top five FAQs about the services we provide.
What is commercial cleaning?
Cleaning is one thing, but commercial cleaning is in a league of its own. Commercial cleaning isn’t just about clearing surfaces and making a space appear tidy. It’s about getting into the most hard-to-reach spots to ensure every single spot has been treated with the same level of care. This goes for both interior and exterior cleaning.
At Industrial Cleaning Specialists, commercial cleaning is about offering a complete package.
This means an assessment of each premise, the right use of chemicals, exceptional equipment and, above all, a trained team to get the job done right with little interruption to the client’s operations.
What cleaning products do we use?
The answer to this question varies from client to client. We don’t have generalist approach to the jobs we take on as each premise comes with its own set of specific requirements.
Some commercial cleaning jobs are tackled more with equipment than chemicals.
For example, water cleaning is an effective approach to many jobs using high pressure super-heated water. As many of our clients are in the food processing industry, we are highly trained in specialty food hygiene and audit cleaning. We clean all plant equipment including pipes, drains and vents whilst ensuring all electrical equipment is handled with extreme care.
Where necessary we use MPI approved chemicals. We are also able to use steam methods to kill bacteria.
What organisations do we service?
We have a very broad range of clients with a mix of commercial cleaning requirements. As mentioned above, we have many clients in the food processing industry who turn to us for peace of mind. But we also service a large number of premises needing exterior maintenance.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following services:
– Building wash downs

– Ducting and ventilation shaft cleaning
– Cleaning of tanks and silos
– Cleaning of car parks and building façades
– Stainless steel cleaning
Any commercial operation that wants to maintain high standards on their premise can turn to us, no matter what it is they require.
